Brainchild Develops Health Tradeshow

Client Concern: The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, a nonprofit providing free and low cost health and empowerment services to the Atlanta community, was looking for a way to increase awareness of the services they provided. Brainchild recommended establishing an annual Health and Beauty Expo, which would provide CBWW with a large event designed to expose large numbers of Atlantans to CBWW, its services and mission as well as providing services onsite to those in need.
Brainchild Marketing Mix: Brainchild provided program development and support, securing entertainers, on-site event management and sponsor brand integration (sponsors included Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Amerigroup, California Pizza Kitchen and The Gap to name a few). From assembling panelists geared to CBWW’s mission, pre-event social media and grassroots
marketing to boost attendance, establishing program itinerary and managing the run of show, Brainchild has become an integral part of this annual flagship event for CBWW. Multiple moving pieces of the event include health screenings, health/business vendors, a panel discussion, music performances and runway fashion show to meet the needs of more than 700 people who attended the event. As a result, the CBWW Annual Health and Beauty Expo has increased attendance year over year and become one of the most anticipated health events of Atlanta’s social calendar.
